The mattress was delivered on time. A little bit nervous as subsequent reviews mentioned an odour, but pleased to report that this mattress did not have a odour although we did leave it 4 hours before we used it. Can't really see a lot of difference between Emma and a spring mattress which is a good thing as I thought the mattress would be very warm. It's not. At half price it's good value. At full price I would consider other options.

A very comfy mattress and I got the pillows as well. Worth the price as why pay for others that no way are to this quality.

I am very happy with the ordering and delivery service, it was easy to order and the delivery was prompt. I am still undecided on the comfort of the mattress, I thought it would be a bit firmer.

A comfortable mattress, slightly thinner than expected but otherwise I'm hay with purchase.

The first shock, the mattress comes folded in half, rolled up & all the air vacuumed out of it packed in a small box! It never recovered!My husband set up the mattress following the instructions, then made the bed so I did not see it initially. I slept comfortably enough the first night, but my husband complained of back ache & his side of the bed collapsing to the point he felt he was falling out of bed. When I examined the mattress, there was a ridge in the middle & my husband’s side was soft & squishy with no support structure. I am 5’2”, 70 in a couple of weeks & have arthritis, yet when I complained the mattress was faulty, I was told to strip the bed & carry heavy weights up two flights of stairs to demonstrate how the mattress was faulty & send photos! They sent me actual samples of photos of mattresses in homes with similar problems so were obviously aware of this particular fault, so why put me to such major inconvenience? My husband was at work & could not help.Having stripped the bed, I was astounded, the mattress in no way resembled what is shown on the website. The cover was wrinkled & baggy, the corners were all rounded & what was supposed to be the edge was halfway under the mattress. I was asking for a replacement that was of the quality advertised. After 3 weeks of this, I was told they would not replace it until I had it 2 weeks??? At this point I had lost confidence in the mattress & faith in the company & asked for a refund. I then received a further email, no mention of refunding me, but telling me I had to strip off the actual mattress cover & leave the mattress to inflate for two weeks. That was the final straw in a comedy of pathetic errors. Even if I were physically capable of doing this, I felt if I could do without a mattress for 2 weeks, I could do without it altogether. I wrote several times demanding a refund & finally wrote to Which Consumer Association as they had endorsed the mattress. Two days after I wrote to Which, I was offered a pickup date for the mattress, I am still waiting for the refund which I’m advised will take up to 10 days, it took them seconds to take my money! Do not buy this rubbish, the mattress I gave away was of far superior quality & cost far less.

Easy to order and was delivered in a timely manner. The mattress is tightly vacuum packed and packaging is difficult to remove if you have arthritis in your hands. However, a very good quality mattress the quality of my sleep has improved since I purchased it five months ago. I ordered the Emma pillows too which do make a difference.

Loved the Emma mattress initially, then after a year we noticed the sides that we sleep on had started to sag despite us turning it regularly. It's 15 months old now and it's absolutely awful, I'm waking up every morning with the worst lower back pain, would not recommend the Emma at all.

Updated:AVOID the Emma pillow if you have neck problems or asthma. I feel that on this mattress IT IS VERY COSY AFTER A WHILE and do not need a pillow. I feel better without pillow but only on emma mattress.The pillow is hard stiff firm Not good if u have allergies or asthma or breathing issues or sensitivities like me. I couldn’t breath when I opened the box to get pillow out. It seems to be heavily chemically treated.Would be great if they could Do an anti allergy one that has less Been treated with chemicals. I got Bump rashes all over my arm and hands after handling the pillow.staff are really nice ! They respond to me within 24hours ! They even offered a free collection for pillow! I decided to sell pillow to someone else instead who was interested in pillow.You see my mattress now has my body print on my side of the mattress and my husband is slim and his side of his mattress does not sag at all !! U have to be lightweight and slim for it to not sag.This must be normal for most standard memory foam mattress but a comfort layer can help prevent or reduce sagging. USE ANY MEMORY FOAM TOPPER !! 5cm thick to help instead of returning too soon. I see a lot of people leave negative reviews without trying to resolve issues first. This is an expensive mattress £600 and you should try not to return it and waste it unless u tried everything or if it is genuinely faulty. It’s good that they offer 200 days to try it out. It’s good they offer mattress topper if you find mattress too hard.It’s good they do discounts and allow instalments if you are accepted.I think with memory foam mattress u must turn it over now and then to prevent it sagging ? Unless it’s faulty? I will update this review once it is resolved and if it’s not I will still updateUpdated as promised.So the smell is STILL ON THE MATTRESS it still affects my breathing I have had the windows open and doors open for ventilation a few hours a day. It states on leaflet that the smell would go Away in two days orA couple of hours but it’s been nearly a week since I opened it.After the 4th day the smell has sort of gone it’s not as bad but I stil needed to take my emergency asthma pump up to four times a day. After TWO WEEKS THE SMELL HAS FINALLY GONE!!I wish Emma would sell a mattress suitable for people for asthmatics.Second thing is that if you have this mattress and u put thick toppers over it then it won’t be as nice as it is with just a sheet or mattress topper.I used a hotel style quilted mattress topper. It was nice and cosy but it was so much better without it.My partnerSaid he wants to speak to the manager. he wants to sue Emma mattress !! because ever since he got in that bed he was not able to get out of the bed for nearly 24 hours !!! because it is extremely cosy and comfortable. He Likes the pillow too. He loves the bed !!

We have 2 emma mattresses now and can't rate them high enough on quality, comfort and design.They deliver quickly and are manufactured to the highest quality
