
The first shock, the mattress comes folded in half, rolled up & all the air vacuumed out of it packed in a small box! It never recovered!My husband set up the mattress following the instructions, then made the bed so I did not see it initially. I slept comfortably enough the first night, but my husband complained of back ache & his side of the bed collapsing to the point he felt he was falling out of bed. When I examined the mattress, there was a ridge in the middle & my husband’s side was soft & squishy with no support structure. I am 5’2”, 70 in a couple of weeks & have arthritis, yet when I complained the mattress was faulty, I was told to strip the bed & carry heavy weights up two flights of stairs to demonstrate how the mattress was faulty & send photos! They sent me actual samples of photos of mattresses in homes with similar problems so were obviously aware of this particular fault, so why put me to such major inconvenience? My husband was at work & could not help.Having stripped the bed, I was astounded, the mattress in no way resembled what is shown on the website. The cover was wrinkled & baggy, the corners were all rounded & what was supposed to be the edge was halfway under the mattress. I was asking for a replacement that was of the quality advertised. After 3 weeks of this, I was told they would not replace it until I had it 2 weeks??? At this point I had lost confidence in the mattress & faith in the company & asked for a refund. I then received a further email, no mention of refunding me, but telling me I had to strip off the actual mattress cover & leave the mattress to inflate for two weeks. That was the final straw in a comedy of pathetic errors. Even if I were physically capable of doing this, I felt if I could do without a mattress for 2 weeks, I could do without it altogether. I wrote several times demanding a refund & finally wrote to Which Consumer Association as they had endorsed the mattress. Two days after I wrote to Which, I was offered a pickup date for the mattress, I am still waiting for the refund which I’m advised will take up to 10 days, it took them seconds to take my money! Do not buy this rubbish, the mattress I gave away was of far superior quality & cost far less.
